Adrian Bharath is the owner and Managing Director of AMB Corporate Finance Limited (“AMB”) which he founded in October 2009.
Adrian has over 31 years of accounting and finance experience, with 21 of these years specializing in investment banking and corporate finance. His extensive experience includes company valuations, capital restructurings, business planning, mergers and acquisitions, privatizations, investment appraisals and due diligence reviews, for leading companies in the Banking and Insurance, Energy, Manufacturing, Retail and Property Management sectors.
Adrian was the Chairman of the National Insurance Board of Trinidad and Tobago (“NIB”) between 2012 and 2015, being responsible for the operation and administration of the country’s National Insurance System with an Investment Portfolio in excess of US$3.5 billion. He also serves as a Director of TRINRE Insurance Co. Ltd.
Adrian was a Director in the Corporate Finance Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers Limited (Trinidad & Tobago) between 1999 and 2009, providing a range of investment banking and advisory support services to companies in the commercial banking and insurance sectors. He previously worked with KPMG for 11 years in multiple roles in London, New York and Trinidad and Tobago, primarily in Investment Banking and Financial Services.
He has Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Industrial Economics and Accountancy from the University of Nottingham, England and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago.
