Milton Brady has been a Senior Advisor with Pan American Finance since 2012.
Milton’s career spans over 45 years’ domestic, regional, and international experience in the financial services sector. Milton is currently Chairman of Sygnus Capital Limited, Jamaica and Sygnus Capital Management Limited, Cayman (SCML) the leading private credit and private equity group in the English-speaking Caribbean. He also chairs, SCML’s Investment and Risk Management Committee.
Milton has pioneered change and led business transformation within the regional and international banking sectors. He has a successful track record of building stakeholder value through growing businesses, managing risks, and leading organizational change. This experience spans all areas of banking and financial services from corporate, retail and investment banking to credit, market, operational and regulatory risk management, to corporate governance.
Some of his key roles have included, Director and Global Head of Credit at SEB Merchant Banking (Sweden); President of SEB, New York (USA); President of SEB Grand Cayman (Cayman Islands); Managing Director, Corporate and Investment Banking at CIBC FirstCaribbean (Barbados); Managing Director, CIBC FirstCaribbean (Jamaica); Chief Commercial Officer, Cable & Wireless Caribbean (Barbados); Group Chief Risk Officer, NCB Group (Jamaica).
Milton completed the MBA Programme at Pace University, New York where he graduated (summa cum laude). He also holds a BA in Finance (magna cum laude) from Pace University. He currently serves as a founding Board Member of York Castle Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to the development of his alma mater, York Castle High School in Brown’s Town, St. Ann, Jamaica.
